Andrea Bava – Founder and Principal 

Founder of Blitz Media and Events, Andrea has a passion for bringing stories of substance to the attention of the media and executing some of the biggest events in the city.
Before founding Blitz Media and Events in 2008, Andrea shared her creativity and communication skills with a handful of successful Vancouver based organizations,       1-800-GOT-JUNK   ?, Intrawest and the Vancouver Canucks.

Andrea also sits on the board of a leading networking event Younge Executives for Success (Y.E.S!) lending her time planning events for the group that benefits the not for profit organization Dress for Success.

Sandra Hanna – PR Specialist

PR Specialist Sandra Hanna has seen first hand that every business can find opportunity by finding its story. 

Sandra is also co-founder and one of the five faces of the brand known throughout North America as The Smart Cookies. She plays a pivotal role in the development and execution of a PR strategy that has resulted in appearances from the five financial mavens on Oprah, The Today Show, CNN and in The New York Times. She is the author of two books; The Smart Cookies Guide to Making More Dough, and The Smart Cookie’s Guide to Couple’s and Money.  Prior to her role at Blitz and with the Smart Cookies, Sandra was part of the international renowned PR team at   1-800-GOT-JUNK ?

Carine Redmond – PR Specialist

Specializing in media and public relations, Carine liaises between clients and the media, using her creativity, knack for selling a story, and natural writing capabilities to get the job done. Also a seasoned copywriter and editor, Carine is known for her ability to spot a grammatical error from a mile away.

 Originally from Ottawa, Carine attended McGill University in Montreal before packing it up for the West Coast in 2008. She worked with a number of high-profile fashion and lifestyle brands in Vancouver before teaming up with Blitz Media. Some of her employers have included Kopelson Entertainment, the Tyra Banks Show, Tara Parker Tait PR, and most recently the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
